In 1973, in
Rajikot, India, a partnership between five technicians and engineers led to the
founding of Austin Engineering Company, which initially began producing needle
bearings with a workforce of 10 workers.
The
company’s continuous growth resulted in its transformation into a joint-stock
company in 1985, and it was later listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange. To
extend the commercialization of its products, a subsidiary was established in
the USA, and in 2000, the European subsidiary, AEC Europe Srl, was founded in
Milan.
The ongoing
and close collaboration between Indian and Italian management has gradually
expanded the range of bearings offered in the European market. Today, AEC
